The LANSING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION is an advisory,
appointed board of the Village of Lansing's Village Board.
LEDC role includes:
- advisory function on economic development issues
- sounding board for issues affecting the development of Lansing
- ambassadorship of information on economic development
- marketing of the village
- oversees the Village Vision
Responsibilities of a LEDC commission member:
- attendance at meetings
- providing expertise in discussions on issues of economic development
- providing expertise in discussions on general village issues
- serving as a village representative to the local business community
