Donna has been a resident of the Village of Lansing for 35 years. She raised her three children in Lansing, all of whom attended public schools, and is the proud grandparent of five grandchildren. 

Donna has been a broker/realtor for McColly Real Estate and has been a successful real estate agent for the past 12 years. Her prior employment experience lends itself perfectly to the administration of affairs in the Village Clerk's office. She was formally employed by Westinghouse in the operations department at the Lansing office, she has also worked in the accounting department for 10 years for the Chicago Group, a management and counsulting firm, and she has worked in the human relations department of Republic Windows and Door.

Donna is a member of Grace Reformed Church in Lansing and leads the GEMS ministry (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior). She has been a longtime member of the Lansing Chamber of Commerce. In 2011, Donna was appointed to Lansing's Economic Development Commission. 

Donna brings enthusiasm and a positive attitude in all projects she becomes involved with. Donna looks forward to bringing this same positive energy to the Village of Lansing.
 

The Village Clerk’s position is an elected, four-year term. The Clerk is the historian of the community for the entire recorded history of the village and its people. The Village Clerk provides a service function to the Village of Lansing as well as support services to other departments within the village structure. The duties of the clerk are essential to the operation of the community.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintains official records and documents including archives  
• Keeper of the Village Seal     
• Attends and records the proceedings of all Village Board meetings     
• Records and publishes Village Board meeting minutes     
• Maintains official ordinances and resolutions records     
• Countersigns and seals official documents, licenses and permits, etc     
• Complying and posting meeting agendas     
• Administering oaths     
• Answering inquiries from other government units and citizens     
• Register Voters

Monday thru Friday 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.

Saturday

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Closed Sunday
