Village To Host Shredding Day on Saturday, October 26th
Village Clerk Vivian Payne is announcing a Lansing Shred Day to be held on Saturday, October 26th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Lansing Municipal Center located at 3141 Ridge Rd. The event is being sponsored by Robinson Engineering and Homewood Disposal. Lansing residents are invited to bring any personal or confidential documents that require safe destruction. VEHICLES MUST HAVE A VALID LANSING VEHICLE STICKER TO BE ADMITTED. Staples, paper clips, and binder clips do not need to be removed prior to shredding; the shredder can also handle spiral notebooks, hanging file folders, and manila file folders. The free shredding service applies only to documents. Plastics, office equipment, and combustible materials will not be accepted. Wet or moldy documents will also be denied due to the potentially damaging effect on the machinery. For more information, contact Clerk Payne at (708) 895-7207 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org with any additional questions.
