Stations Closed to the Public, but We Are Still Responding
Our department has closed off our stations to the general public to help reduce the risk of illness to our personnel and our community. We are taking this measure, among others, to help curb possible exposure to the virus COVID-19.
At this time, our plan is to reopen to the public on May 30. Until then, rest assured that our personnel will be maintaining our regular 24-hour shifts every day to respond to emergencies. We are still working and responding to 911 calls as needed. We are still answering non-emergency questions by phone Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m—just call us at 708-895-7400. Please check back for updates here or on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Village-of-Lansing-Fire-Department-2390140577711970/.
We will keep doing all that we can to help our residents and visitors through this challenging time. Thank you to our community for your support and understanding.
