Our active stations are located at 2710 170th St. and 19300 Burnham Ave. Our station at 18249 Chicago Ave. is currently inactive. Our administrative offices are at 18200 Chicago Ave. Our non-emergency phone number is still 708-895-7400.
Q. Does your department offer CPR classes?
We do not offer public CPR classes at this time.
Q. Does your department install or check children's car seats?
Not at this time. Please call the Police Department non-emergency number at 708-895-7150.
Q. When can I go to the fire station to get my blood pressure checked?
Visit either of our fire stations at 2710 170th St. or 19300 Burnham Ave. at any time to get your blood pressure checked. Depending on our emergency call volume or other obligations, the station you visit might be unoccupied. If you or someone else is having a medical emergency, please dial 911.
Q. When does the Fire Department do blood pressure / blood glucose checks?
Due to COVID-19, we have canceled our scheduled blood pressure / blood glucose checks at the Municipal Center. We plan to start them again in 2021 when possible. At that time, we will post our new schedule; please call our non-emergency number at 708-895-7400 for updates.
Q. How do I get a copy of an incident report?
Please call our administrative offices at 708-895-7400 to request a copy of a report. Fire incident reports can be picked up in person, emailed to the caller, or sent to an insurance firm, a law office, or an individual at the caller's request. EMS reports may also be picked up in person or sent to an insurance firm or law office. Please note: During the temporary closure of municipal offices in the Village, reports cannot be picked up in person until further notice. Please call our office first to make a request.
