Emergency Bracelet Program

The Lansing Police Department’s Emergency Bracelet Program is designed for residents over 60 years old or any resident with a disability or special needs. The bracelets are used to identify any special conditions and emergency contact information for the wearer.

Each bracelet has an individual identification number, located within the bezel. That number is connected to a confidential file within the 9-1-1 center, available 24 hours a day.  This vital information alerts first responders to any special conditions the wearer may have, so they can respond appropriately, or contact a family member.

Any resident interested in signing up for the Bracelet Program is asked to contact the program coordinator, Lori Fields, at 708-895-7100. There is a one-time $10 cost for the bracelet.
